365 Project – week 40

October 8, 2013 by Nat & Tim Leave a Comment

Apples and pig This week we went to the country to pick apples and then made apple butter.  Tim was filmed for Asian tv and cooked a 150 pound pig on a spit. This week’s 365 project post is dedicated to Fahiman, who we lost this week. She was a great woman and will be missed […]

13 weeks left That’s right, 13 weeks left to this 365 project, time flies.  This week someone (Tim) got a new ukulele, we went for a hike in Gatineau Park and we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary, I know, we look too young but it’s the truth. How did you spend your week?

365 Project – week 38

September 24, 2013 by Nat & Tim 4 Comments

Moving right along Warm days have been few and far between lately and this week we enjoyed some of our last beers on a patio.  I worked an event at the museum, enjoyed Nuit Blanche Ottawa-Gatineau and made some delicious apple turnovers from scratch, puff pastry and all. How did you spend your week?

1 week = 21 meals You would think, by the photos I picked out, that all we did this week was eat.  With all the time we spend thinking about, planning and preparing meals, it’s a miracle we have time for anything else. This week we had a relaxing 2 days off and spent some […]

A Perfect Day in Ottawa

September 13, 2013 by Nat & Tim 7 Comments

ottawa, ontario, canada, things to do,

365 project, week 36

Productivity It felt like a very productive week.  We tried out El Camino for the first time and we’re glad we did.  It was delicious!  We bought our last basket of peaches of the season and looking forward to some apples! How did you spend your week?

365 project

It’s September! This week I had some great fish and ate my weight in delicious Niagara peaches.  Got caught up on Mad Men and finally finished uploading all of our pictures from last summer’s trip.  Which means I have a dozen empty memory cards, I need to start planning a vacation! How did you spend your […]

365 project - week 33

Week 33…the 365 project continues We enjoyed a long bicycle ride and de-cluttered some more.  Delicious Indian food quashed a craving we’ve had for weeks and a trip to the country with a less than perfect car left us stranded until my sister came to the rescue. The week ended with us making Flight Network’s […]
