Beautiful Vancouver Island

January 10, 2014 by Nat & Tim 7 Comments

Vancouver Island

If you like the outdoors and Vancouver Island isn’t on your list of places to visit you should change that right now.  It is as slow paced as you would expect an island to be.

It’s the perfect place to go bird watching, practice a sport or recharge.

My parents have/had a place near Victoria for years (they are renting it at the moment). They would go a couple times per year and I would try to make it at least once. It’s such a good place to go for the fresh air and nature walks. There is something just soul healing about the place. I miss it a lot… we haven’t been in a while. Hopefully I can go again soon. Oh yeah, the food on the island is to die for too…

You’re right, there’s something about it that’s healing.

I’m overdue for a visit – and now that I don’t have to put up with a rainy Vancouver winter on a full time basis I would really look forward to getting a dose of green.
    Great photos.
