Simple crostini toppings

Simple crostini toppings

The holidays can be overwhelming with all the shopping that needs to be done and socializing that is expected but it doesn’t need to be that way. If you’re hosting a get together, plan something simple but elegant like a cocktail party. If you don’t have a well stocked bar you could go the wine and beer route and buy the necessary ingredients to make one signature cocktail for the evening. As far as food goes, simple bites that are delicious and look good are all you need.

In this video Chef Tim shows you how to make several different and simple crostini toppings, arrange crostini on platters and pass them or place the platters around the room and refill as needed.

Happy Holidays!

Cocktail party is a brilliant idea for a Christmas get together – I’m not the greatest in the kitchen, but these look fairly easy to put together and cook up! Chicken liver sounds interesting … have never tried it before, but I’ll have to give it a try. Really fab platter – thanks for the tips!

What great toppings and yes very simple! I love crostinis for midday snacks and usually only have 2-3 go-to toppings. Can’t wait to try most of these. Yum!

Looks like the makings for a great party! They look to be quite hearty too. Tasty and stick to your ribs.

Love your cave kitchen in Umbria with its romantic atmosphere and plenty of work space that even us amateurs covet and it was fun to watch Tim in action. I was writing down a list and instructions while I watched the video and, forget sharing! this would be so great to munch on with a good movie some evening,.
