The Beautiful Isle of Skye

June 16, 2015 by Nat & Tim 9 Comments

Skye

We spent a short 10 days visiting Scotland this past winter, a few of those days were devoted to the Isle of Skye.  The Isle of Skye is one of those places with a beauty that is difficult to convey in photos. Its jaw dropping scenery and ever changing weather and landscapes left us speechless more than a few times. We hope these photos do it justice.

What do you think? Are these photos enticing enough for you to start planning your Scotland getaway?

Thanks to Visit Scotland and Arnold Clark for the use of a car to traipse through their beautiful country.

Wow, these photos are absolutely breathtaking. The landscapes here are beautiful, and I love the photo of the sheep crossing the street! I definitely need to visit the Isle of Skye!

Thank you so much, it’s easy to take good photos when the subject is this spectacular.

I’d love to see Skye so badly, our time in Scotland the past winter was too short and we didn’t manage to get there, such a shame. Oh well, we have another excuse to return to such beautiful country and plenty of things too see still 🙂

I had no idea that there were waterfalls in Scotland and that one is spectacular! I also love the cute wooly friends you met too!

We did a mad six-day family holiday in Scotland a few years back. We managed to cram a lot in, but not Skye. Thanks for showing us what we missed out on and why we need to return to one of the most beautiful countries on Earth.

WHOA. That’s all I’ve got. Four letters, and not the usual four-letters. SKYE.
