The mad dash
The Christmas rush, those days when the streets are empty but the stores are crowded. When it seems like everyone is out and feeling “the spirit” of consumerism. We’d much rather hang out at home with a cocktail, watching Christmas movies and staring at the sparkly lights.
This week it snowed so much the city workers gave up (unplowed sidewalks), we had our yearly Harris Christmas gift exchange and spent a good part of the week catching up on neglected paperwork.
