All Inclusive Resorts – Includes kids!

September 6, 2013 by Nat & Tim 2 Comments

All inclusive misperceptions

There are a few misperceptions about resort style vacations that all too often circulate when it comes time for families and friends to plan their next travel destination. There are probably a few images that come to mind: the overcrowded, inebriated swarm of bikini-clad and shirtless co-eds off for spring break; the madly in love couples, canoodling on the beach, by the pool and at the spa; and then there’s the snow bird couples basking in their retirement glory, taking a well-deserved break from their previously hectic lives.

All inclusive convenience

There is, of course, a variety of other people that do go on resort-style all inclusive vacations but these common misperceptions do seem to deter many from considering it as an option. Take for instance a family with young children. A resort vacation can be an ideal place to take a family. Many resorts offer a plethora of children-friendly activities, both on land and out in the water. And the all-inclusive incentive means that parents don’t have to worry about meal planning, or spending extra money for the entire family to eat.

Not just for the newly married or retired

The layout of a resort is quite ideal as well. Most often, resorts serve as a contained vacation experience that can ensure that children are in a safe environment. While it would probably be most parents intent to enjoy their vacation experience with their children. There is always the option for them to relax on the beach, or by the pool while their children occupy themselves with another resort activity.

So it’s not just for the young and single, newly married, and happily retired. Resort vacations can be an exciting family getaway, which is both relaxing and enjoyable for all. Parents can enjoy a relaxing beach vacation while also providing a unique experience that their children can take part in as well.

It’s wonderful what resorts have to offer to kids these days… wish my family vacations had included some of this. Wow!
